Bio

I am a teacher, writer, and reader who lives in St. Paul, Minnesota. I write poetry, essays, and short stories. .

I received my B.A. in English literature and creative writing from Madison, Wisconsin in 2009, and my M.A. in TESOL/Linguistics from Hamline University in 2016. I am working on my M.A. in English (Composition/Literature) at Mankato State University.

As an educator, I like to research and write about the many layers of power and privilege that exist for white, wealthy folks in the U.S.

I have spent 5 years living abroad and teaching English, in Uganda, Laos, and China. Much of my personal blog is about my travels. You can find it here.
